Floyd “Money” Mayweather’s Flight Company Sued for $136k in Unpaid Fuel
Floyd Mayweather is in the ring again, but this time it is a legal one. His private jet company, TBE Aviation LLC, is being sued for $136,000 by a Miami-based fuel supplier. Associated Energy Group (AEG) says Mayweather’s company didn’t pay for fuel and services stretching back months. The case was filed in Florida, and it is already getting messy.
According to the lawsuit, TBE Aviation racked up unpaid invoices from October 31, 2024, to June 6, 2025. That includes fuel, labor, storage, and repair costs. AEG says the company owes $109,048.86, plus 1.5% monthly interest going back to November. The total has ballooned, and a judge just stepped in.
On July 16, a Florida court approved a prejudgment garnishment order. That means AEG can freeze $273,481.38 of TBE Aviation’s money before a final ruling is even made. It is double the amount owed, just in case Mayweather’s team tries to move funds around.
A Rough Year for the Boxing Legend

Floyd / IG / Mayweather Fitness, a chain of gyms that shares his name and image, has also been caught up in a wave of employee wage complaints.
But this isn’t Floyd Mayweather’s only legal headache right now. The boxing champ has been battling lawsuits across multiple fronts. In May, he sued Business Insider for $100 million after they questioned a major real estate deal he publicly bragged about.
He claimed he bought a 62-building portfolio in Manhattan. The story said the deal didn’t happen, but Mayweather says it is false and damaging to his brand.
Trainers and staff members in several cities say they weren’t paid properly. Mayweather, who has promoted the gym brand heavily, threatened to sue the gym owners himself. But the owners pushed back.
Now, it is getting worse. A judge in Los Angeles recently sanctioned the gym defendants for not following court rules and allowed a fraud claim to move forward. That means the case has teeth and might not end well for the gyms or for Mayweather’s brand by association.
Even if he’s not directly managing those gyms, the public sees his name on the door.
Floyd “Money” Mayweather’s Response
Still, Floyd Mayweather isn’t backing down. He says he is financially solid. In public statements, he insists he owns two private jets and more than 100 buildings and that his net worth is somewhere between $400 million and $1 billion.

Floyd / IG / The boxing legend, 48, even mocked claims that he is having cash flow problems, saying people just “wish” he were broke.
But this lawsuit involving TBE Aviation makes it harder to ignore the noise. If you are truly worth close to a billion, why not pay a $136,000 bill before it hits court? That is pocket change for someone who calls himself “Money.” The court’s decision to lock down over $270,000 suggests the judge thinks AEG has a strong case.
Mayweather built his brand around wealth, control, and a lavish lifestyle. But lawsuits like this chip away at that image. First, the real estate questions, then the gym wage issues, and now, unpaid jet fuel? It is not a good look for someone whose identity is built on always being ahead of the game.
TBE Aviation, the company at the center of this, is supposed to manage Mayweather’s jet operations. The name stands for “The Best Ever,” a nod to his boxing nickname.
